Banjir Pakistan semakin melarat

ISLAMABAD 4 Ogos – Banjir memusnahkan beratus-ratus perkampungan, membinasakan kediaman, menenggelamkan tanaman dan mengancam lebih banyak nyawa di tengah Pakistan hari ini ketika angka kematian melebihi 1,500 orang.
Pasukan bantuan memberi amaran paras air sungai akan terus meningkat di selatan negara ini dan mencetuskan lebih banyak pemindahan.
Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) bergelut menyediakan makanan dan bantuan lain kepada 3.2 juta penduduk yang terjejas di negara yang sememangnya berhadapan dengan pemberontak dan kemiskinan ini.
