Almost one air crash occurs in the area per year because of bad weather [Reuters] All 14 people on board a small passenger aircraft have been killed following a crash in bad weather in Nepal. Six foreign tourists were aboard the plane, including four US nationals, a Briton and a Japanese tourist, officials said on Tuesday. The aircraft was travelling in heavy rain about 50km outside Kathmandu, the capital, when it crashed into the hills near Shikharpur village, according to Bahadur Shrestha, a police chief.
